Rules [updated 12/12/2014] v2

Do not start fights or influence arguments. This is a mature site so let's act bigger than our shoe size. If you have a problem with another member bring it up with a staff member. If you insist on antagonizing, you will be punished.

This is an Account Per Character site. When registering, your account has to be your horses name and in all capitol letters. Don't like it? Then don't join, simple as that! So you must register with Character's name. You may also make a staff/normal account for keeping track of all your characters in one place for things like thread trackers, shippers and things of that sort.

Talk to staff, they are people just like you. Don't be scared of them. PM us, we love solving problem and helping out with anything possible. We also would love to plot and rp with you. Just ask

Avatars must be 220 x 320, so make sure they are ok? Pictures are also first come first serve thus meaning do not use the same stock as some one who already has, so who ever has it first keeps it. All manipulations must be from a stock provider such as deviantART, flickR, sxc, etc. And if you want a graphic studio just PM Renasaurus with an example and based on your ability you will be granted one or not.






There is a 300 word minimum. This is required in order to continue posting. If staff notices that you are not reaching this limit they will either freeze your thread until you reach the limit or offer help in the rp section. Once and a while is okay as we all understand muse is hard to come by sometimes but 300 words should not be that difficult to come up with so if it happens on a regular basis, action will be taken.

Liquid time is allowed as long as it doesn't get out of hand.

Do not start posting with your character until it has been accepted. If staff has not replied to your character application after 48 hours then pm a staff member and politely ask for someone to glance over it.

One month in real time equals one whole season on Vassago.

There is no limit to the amount of characters you can make but if you can not remain active we will ask you to reduce your numbers until your activity picks up.

You must use the form provided by staff in the creation area and fill all required fields before your character will be accepted. Additional information can be given if desired.

Use a spell-checker. You can use a word processor with a spell-checker, an online tool or download a dictionary for your browser and use proper grammar. Understand the differences between your and you're and try to avoid using contractions, for example.

We will be holding many auditions for the important roles that we have here on Vassago so be sure to keep an eye out. We will hold a few at a time as to not flood the site with auditions. But do not be afraid to audition.

Ages will fluctuate here on Vassago as we have both immortal and mortal equines. Please use common sense.

We have three different species of equine you may join as at the moment. Lunia, Erebos and Dryiad. You may no join as a half anything yet as those will be only allowed to be bred on the site for the time being and rare for that matter.

Erebos and Lunia are the only creatures with odd colors and markings and odd colored eyes. Demi Erebos and Demi Lunia may be semi colored oddly, less that 25% of their body must be colored strangely, and they make have strange eyes. Dryiad horses can only be normal horse colors with normal colored eyes.






Must wait at least two real weeks after your mare is bred to foal. If you wish for it to be slightly longer than that's ok! No longer than five real weeks though!

Foals will age six months every 2 weeks until they reach the age of three then you can decide how quickly or slowly they develop. Foals can not stay young over two months real time. If this happens it will result in complicated growth of the child.

Once bred and you both decided she is going to conceive you need to go to the foaling board and fill out your forms, remember you can buy twins, special marking, etc. The staff will decide the stats and even the image of the foal. You can always buy the appearance for a hefty lot of gems. Don't get upset if your birth doesn't come out as planned, we try to make this as realistic and fair as possible.

After the foal is born you must register it before posting. This will help us keep track of horses born here on Vassago. There will be a specific board for you to register the foal.

You may breed in any season but remember the chances of them living vary on season.





In order to claim land or another members character you must remain active. This rule is strictly enforced. It is unfair to other members if you vanish leaving their characters at a stand still for posting.

Both stallion and mares may claim land, stallions, mares, and foals.

Foals may claim nothing and your character is a foal until they reach the age of two years.

When claiming you must have a claiming post and fill out the form. Try to explain the land in your post. Be sure that the land is actually able to be claimed... There is often in bold text "Unclaimable Land". Thus meaning it can't be claimed. And make sure to follow the posting rules as well.

Any character over the age of 2 years old may steal. A character must be at least the age of 3 for challenges.

When it comes to blocking a steal, the lead, their beta, or immediate family/mates of the one being stolen may block a steal.

Steals start the day they are posted and last 5 days. If within five days a block has not been successfully made, the character being stolen will report to the one stealing.

A steal must have at least 5 hints.

If a herd is stolen from, they gain 2 weeks of immunity from steals. Herd members must also wait two weeks before challenging back for the horse that was stolen

When challenging some one for land you have two hits and one dodge. This is just the generic so if you both agree to something else, you may. You can use all in one post but believe me if you do this--you'll lose. Your opponent has four days to respond to your challenge before the property being challenged is handed over.

Fighting must take place in the designated area unless agreed upon by members battling and staff that it should take place elsewhere.

Winner and loser is determined by a grading scale in the fighting board. You can appeal once on the battle if you do not agree with the staff and a poll will be put in place and members allowed a weeks time to vote on who they believe wins.

After each battle unless the winner refuses grace period you are given two weeks free of challenges and fights allowing themselves time to rebuild muse before a second challenge.

Kings/Queens may not be challenged. These are a canon character.







If you play a canon character they must be kept active. They must be posted at least once very 2 weeks. We will be keeping track of the activity of each canon position. If you are unable to post, please post in the away and state your reason. If we see you posting other character but not the canon, you will lose that position.

Canons are only given out by auditions. If there is an opening, it will be auditioned for. Keep an eye out for openings.
